Matsutake Soy Sauce
We brewed this limited release soy sauce with some beautiful Matsutake mushrooms imported from Japan by our friends at Regalis Foods. After barrel aging for 12 months, we pressed and bottled a scant few hundred bottles. This soy sauce has a full-body, meaty flavor that balances umami, salt, tartness, and a lingering light piney mushroom finish.
Suggested pairings include; sautéed mushrooms, rare steak, pasta and noodle dressing, dipping sauce for gyoza and dumplings, sautéed root vegetables, cold steak salad, and grilled chicken or lamb.
Packaged in 5.1 fl oz recyclable glass bottles with a convenient pull-tab flip top closure.
