Cannellini Bean Salad with Garden Herbs
A refreshing, cool summer salad made with organic cannellini beans and fresh herbs from the garden. No cooking involved, just chop up a small handful of fresh herbs, dice a small onion, and mix!
Ingredients:
15.5 oz/439g Can of Organic Cannellini Beans
1 Sprig/2.0g Fresh Parsley
1/2 Yellow Onion diced
2 Sage Leaves/0.5g
1 sprig/1.0g Fresh Thyme
½ t/1.5 g Sea Salt
1 t/4g Moromi Shoyu
1/8 t/0.5g White Pepper
1/8 t/0.5g Black Pepper
1 t/3.5 g Cane Sugar
2 T White Wine Vinegar
Preparation:
Finely chop the thyme and sage. Coarse chop the parsley and set aside a pinch or two for garnish.
Dice the onion.
Open and drain the Cannellini Beans and place into a medium mixing bowl.
Combine all ingredients in the mixing bowl with the Cannellini Beans and mix well. Cover and let the salad marinate in the refrigerator for ½ hour before serving. Garnish with parsley and serve cold. Enjoy!
